Mind & Body

Release & Rejuvenate *SIGNATURE CLASS BY FITNESS FUN*

Heal yourself with an amalgamation of myofascial release, corrective mindful movement, meditative breathing, and relaxation techniques. Release & Rejuvenate aims to restore balance, energy and flexibility. Whether you are battling a  computer posture, taking a breather from a hectic schedule, or recovering from a strenuous workout, the class leaves you feeling refreshed and lighter in your steps. This is a signature class under Fitness Fun Group. a 2-hour session and workshop options are available. Contact us for more information.

 

Pilates (Mat)

Mat Pilates offered focuses on proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance through body awareness and mindful movement, without much help from props. Depending on the class, this is a multi-level class with movement ranging from beginner to intermediate levels.   

 

Yin Yoga for Better Sleep

Yin Yoga for Better Sleep is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, incorporating principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with asanas that are held for longer periods of time. Not only does this allow more time for mind and body connection, but it also allows the stretch to get into deeper connective tissues. For beginners, asanas may be held from one to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more.

 

Yin-Yang Flow

This is a class that combines traditional hatha yoga flow in the first half, followed by longer holds in selected poses (3 to 5 minutes) in the second half of the class.

STRONG Nation

STRONG Nation is a form of high-intensity, bootcamp-style interval training choreographed to specific music for a total body workout. Think of burpees, pushups, and other high-impact moves synced to adrenaline-pumping tunes.

Zumba Fitness

Zumba is a phenomena dance fitness programme created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Pérez during the 1990s. It uses Latin-American music and dance steps and transform it into an innovative, energetic workout. It has taken the world by storm with tens of millions of followers todate. A lower impact version, Zumba Gold is available. We also offer Zumba Toning, which is the addition and focus on body sculpting exercises within the dances, as well as the addition of lightweight, maraca-like toning sticks for more fun!

 

Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold is a lower-intensity version of the typical Zumba class and was designed to meet the anatomical, physiological and psychological needs of seniors. This may provide a suitable option for older adults seeking alternative means of reaching their exercise goals. This class is also suitable for beginners who are new to Zumba Fitness.

 

Zumba Toning

Zumba Toning is a lower impact version of Zumba Fitness that targets the abs, thighs, arms, and other muscles throughout the body. This type of Zumba class provides participants with a cardio workout and strength training using maraca-like toning sticks which double-up as a percussion instrument for added fun. Participants may also use light handweights (1 or 2lb) or water bottles if Zumba Toning sticks are not available.

 

Zumba Kids + Kids Jr. 

Zumba® Kids, Jr classes are rockin', high-energy dance parties packed with kid-friendly routines. We break down steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure. Helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children's lives.
